Interested in a learning abroad program?  Have questions?  Learning Abroad Peer Advisors are available from 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday to help students identify program options, answer questions, and assist with the application process.  Visit room 159 in the Union to speak with a Peer Advisor!

The Center for Learning Abroad is excited to announce our first annual summer instagram contest series!

Each month we will have a theme, and each week we will award a $15 gift certificate to the Pie to the student with the best photo. Our monthly themes are:

• May: Tourists' Mistakes: we want to see pics of the goofy mistakes and awkward slip-ups that are bound to happen when cultures collide!
• June: Going Native: what are you doing, seeing, feeling as you attempt to adapt to and adopt your host culture?
• July: Handstands Around the World: send us shots of you handstanding near, around, on top of spots that are unique to your study abroad location!
• August: Off the Beaten Track: Where have you visited, and what have you seen, that is not a traditional tourist destination? 

Tag your photos with #utahabroad to enter the contest! You are welcome to enter as many photos as you'd like (the more the merrier!).

Please be sure to include your name and program title in the photo description. Photos must be taken abroad, but you can continue to submit photos once you're home if you'd like. Photos will appear on our facebook page, in the instragram tab. Check out our instragram stream here.

Contest is open to all current and past participants on a University of Utah learning abroad program.

Each week's winning photo will be featured on our website and facebook page (you'll be famous)!
